i am quite familiar with linkedin and have had a profile on there for a long time to 5214093

I am quite familiar with Linkedin and have had a profile on there for a long time to display my credits in their entirety in acting and film production in a virtual resume format. What drew me to create a profile on there is that it is way more professional than IMDb (Internet Movie Database) and that IMDb is not an industry site and does not list all credits for certain types of productions. My LinkedIn account is under my stage name, Claudia Kastellanos, if anybody wants to find me there. I think that when people take the time to set up a LinkedIn account that the individual means business. Over the number of years, I have been on Linkedin I had noticed that LinkedIn marks when someone has a “work anniversary” or gets promoted or begins a new job and encourages whoever is “linked” to congratulate them. I think this feature is nice and motivating. This feature is kind of like when someone has a birthday on Facebook except it feels more like a virtual office party. Also, very much like Facebook, there are groups one can join catered to particular jobs or companies, and once you join them, they are shown at the bottom of a LinkedIn profile. I think this helps make a LinkedIn profile look more professional as well because it shows you are serious about a field of work to a degree and that you cosign great things in that field sort of similar to “Like Pages” on Facebook. In these groups, other members may post articles or questions on topics, and other users can choose to answer what they know about it. I have also noticed hashtags becoming more commonly used on LinkedIn as well. I had a YouTube video that I promoted on LinkedIn in a post using hashtags, and it did draw some new eyes to my page. A business or person can even market or post certain things they want to advertise in any group that relates or allows such posts as previously mentioned. I had noticed that certain job titles are clickable on Linkedin as well and will bring up a list of people that work in that field when clicked. Some users may not know that, but in itself, the social media has grouped people by job field or keywords to be easily searched in the database.
